BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We take a 50% deposit (payment) at the time of booking your boat rental. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged if you cancel 96 hrs (4 days) or more from the date & time of your booking. If you cancel within 96 hrs (4 days) of your booking you will forfeit the entire amount of your deposit. You must call us at 775 400-6677 to cancel. Emailed cancellations will not be honored.
Yes, fuel is included in the rate.
You park directly across the street from the Homewood High & Dry Marina, 5190 W. Lake Blvd, Homewood, CA 96141, in the Southern end of the Homewood Ski Area parking lot. From there, walk across the street (Hwy 89) to the marina and check-in at the SWA Watersports kiosk.
Your boat rental starts at the time of your reservation, so please arrive at LEAST 30 minutes early to check-in and receive your boat safety / operation orientation.
No, your entire group must come to and board the boat at our location. We do not allow docking or beaching our rental boats. The only exception here is for multi-day boat rentals.
The best time to rent a boat is from the morning into the early afternoon. Lake Tahoe can get very windy later in the day.
Morning rentals start between 8:00 – 10:30 am
Afternoon rentals start between 2:00 – 4:00 pm
It depends on the quantity, size, and breed of the dog. In other words approval will be needed from management. If allowed, an additional $75 will be charged to the rental.
Our boats do not have ice chests onboard. If you have one please bring it. If not, you can rent an ice chest with ice for $20.
Only if you use the restaurant boat valet service. You are not allowed to pull up or tie off to any piers.
No, you may not beach or dock the boat. Please stay off shore out of the shallow rocky water. This is where all the boat damage occurs (boat vs rocks)! We have anchors on our boats so if you need to get to shore please anchor and swim in.
